The Piccadilly Dance Orchestra

Founded in 1988 by Michael Law, musical director for The Piccadilly Dance Orchestra.

They are renowned for capturing the sound and style of the 1920's and 1930's era, when Hollywood was in it's Golden Age of the musical, and when going out meant, "dressing up to the nines", drinking champagne cocktails and listening and dancing to the musical styles of Noel Coward, Cole Porter and Gershwin.

Watching movies with the likes of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, Hollywood provided the world with some of the greatest and memorable songs ever written.

Over the years they have released six albums, with songs titles such as, "Dance Little Lady", "Puttin' On The Ritz" and "I Won't Dance", through to Glen Miller's "In The Mood".
